1. 標準名稱—EN 12878:2014(建筑顏料CE認證)
EN 12878:2014 Pigments for the colouring of building materials based on cement and/or lime-Specifications and methods of test.
EN 12878:2014水泥和/或石灰基建筑材料著色用顏料 規范和試驗方法。EN 12878:2005/AC:2006標準將更新為EN12878:2014.

2. EN 12878:2014標準適用范圍
This British Standard is the UK implementation of EN 12878:2014. It supersedes BS EN 12878:2005 which is withdrawn.
The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee STI/1, Pigments.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard; either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2014 and confliction national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by January 2016.

2007年1月1日起，所有在歐盟市場銷售的建筑顏料都必須經過CE認證，其產品加貼CE標識，才能在市場范圍內銷售。建筑顏料CE認證根據EN 12878:2014標準進行認證。

4．建筑顏料CE認證產品認證法規及體系
建筑顏料CE認證根據歐盟建筑產品法規CPR:305/2011/EU-CPR法規，采用2+產品認證體系。從2013年7月1日起，歐盟頒布的建筑產品CPR法規(Construction Product Regulation簡稱305/2011/EU-CPR法規)將全面取代原來的建筑產品CPD指令(Construction Product Directive簡稱89/106/EEC-CPD指令)，歐盟CPR法規將對CE認證要求更加嚴格。
